Xiandu Scenic Area (Main Entrance)
The main scenic area encompassing multiple sights including Dinghu Peak, Niweng Cave, and Xiandu Cliff. Well-maintained walking paths wind through bamboo groves, along streams, and past ancient rock formations. The entire area is a photographer's paradise, especially in the early morning mist.
Niweng Cave (倪翁洞)
One of Xiandu's three major caves, named after Ni Zi — the teacher of Fan Li (a famous ancient strategist). The cave contains over 60 ancient cliff inscriptions, including authentic calligraphy from the Tang Dynasty calligrapher Li Yangbing. Small entrance, but a spacious interior with fascinating history.
Huangdi Yin · Yellow Emperor Seal (黄帝印)
A significant cultural site connected to the legend of the Yellow Emperor (Huangdi), the mythical ancestor of the Chinese people. The site features a large stone seal carving and offers insight into ancient Chinese mythology and the origins of Xiandu's spiritual significance.
Xiandu Cliff / Small Red Cliff (小赤壁)
A stunning red sandstone cliff face reflected in the clear river below. The flat riverside walking path is easy and suitable for all ages. Features include "Red Cliff Danxia" rock formations and the "Dragon Plowed Path"—a narrow walkway carved into the cliff face. Beautiful at sunset when the red rock glows.
Dinghu Peak (鼎湖峰)
The iconic symbol of Xiandu — a 170.8-meter-tall peak rising like a bamboo shoot from the valley floor. Known as "the number one peak under heaven." Featured in countless films and TV dramas. Legend says the Yellow Emperor refined his immortality pill at the peak's summit lake. The early morning view with mist swirling around the peak is unforgettable.
Zhutan Mountain & Stone Arch Bridge (朱潭山)
Xiandu's most famous photography location. The classic image of an old farmer leading a water buffalo across a stone arch bridge with Dinghu Peak in the background is shot right here. In the early morning, a misty表演 (performance) recreates this iconic scene. This spot was also featured in The Journey of Flower.
Qianying Bird Paradise · Parrot Theme Park (千鹦鸟舍)
A large-scale bird sanctuary and parrot-themed park. Home to hundreds of colorful parrots and other bird species. Features bird shows, interactive feeding zones, and educational exhibits. Great for families with children and bird enthusiasts.
